Welcome to the Scottish Showcase Gallery.
The gallery is situated by the harbour in the ‘Artist’s Town’ of Kirkcudbright, on Scotland’s scenic south west coast.
Scottish art and crafts are renowned for their quality and traditions, yet they vary immensely in style throughout the mainland and the isles. Normally, you would have to travel from region to region to see the influence of many great artists and the four main art schools.
Alternatively, you can see work from all over Scotland, by up to 100 artists and makers, and so much more, all under one roof at this exciting and unique showcase gallery.
Situated on the harbour, 50m from the bridge, in 'The Artist’s Town' of Kirkcudbright, this renovated mill building now serves as an ideal art gallery. With its tall ceilings, wood floors and beams, natural light and spacious surroundings, it offers the visitor an opportunity to view all the contemporary art works at its best advantage.
Galleries should be a place for relaxation and quiet contemplation, a place to reflect and take in all that is being presented to you by the artist or maker. We have endeavoured to provide this atmosphere and hope you enjoy the experience, just as we have enjoyed gathering this
collection of works for you to view, from all over Scotland.
In addition to a wide range of original art and crafts, there are 100’s of fine art prints and cards. We also offer the public and artists a wide range of other specialist materials and services, including:
• Art materials • Picture framing
• Fine art printing • Printed promotional materials
